The 1stst arr is the very epicenter of Paris. As the very 1st arrondissement, the rest of Paris spins outwardly from there. Dominated by the world's most famous museum, the Louvre, the 1st is actually the least populated of all the arrondissements as it is full of the city's most famous sites.
