May is Holiday Season in Paris: So What Museums are Open?

There are few months in France that embody the legendary “joie de vivre” as much as the month of May. There are no less than 5 national holidays in May on the 8th, 9th, 10th, 19th and 20th.

While those holidays may help the French make the most of their beautiful springtime, these holidays can be a bit of a headache to travelers. Nearly all of the most famed Parisian attractions are closed for at last one of those holidays, so you’ll have to take care to plan your trip accordingly.
